This year, in conjunction with the cub scout pinewood derby, our ward had an 'Open Class' event. Anyone who wanted to build and race a car was invited to enter. Naturally, Bill signed up. He enlisted the aid of Tony Ambruso to help out. The two of them had a great time putting their car together and had quite a cheering section between me and Tony's wife, Sue, and his sister-in-law. Unfortunately, our little yellow car didn't manage to place but we all had a good time anyway. The joy is in the journey!
That is so cute! I'm glad the papa had a good time racing his little yellow car.
