For my birthday this year Bill built me these beautiful grow boxes in our back yard. Right now we have one filled with herbs.. basil, thyme, oregano & purple basil, one filled with flowers, zucchini squash in one and the last with summer squash. We also have cantaloupe growing against the backyard fence (it needs some shade in the afternoon) and several other less hardy herbs in containers on the back patio. We are enjoying watching these things grow now and are looking forward to planting more veggies this fall. Thanks, Bill- I LOVE my birthday present!!!
Wow!!! How fun to have a garden. I have MANY memories of our garden in the first Kaysville house...mostly planting the seeds, whining about not wanting to weed, and preparing the vegetables for bottling. I loved the fresh tomatos, corn and peas. It will be fun to see how well you guys do in AZ. Share the wealth with your AZ kid :)
