Kelli is Mrs Christopher Reed!

On June 13th at 9 AM Kelli and Christopher were united in the Mesa Temple for time and all eternity. What a glorious occasion! Its hard to describe the joy of seeing all your children and their spouses gathered together in that holy place- as well as the first grandchild, representing the next generation.. As President Benson always said, we want no empty chairs around our table in the Celestial Kingdom. We felt like this was just a tiny glimpse of what eternal joy might be.
Following the ceremony we went outside to take pictures (thanks, Heather!) then on to the Golden Corral where Christopher's parents generously hosted the wedding luncheon. We then had several hours to take a deep breath and finish up last minute details for the reception..
And, can I just say that all the planning (fretting), shopping, worry and work paid off- the reception came off without a hitch and was just as wonderful as we had hoped it would be.. thanks to Jeanie's beautiful flower arrangements and Christi's inspired table decorations. Not to mention Kathy's delicious food. I have to admit, I was a little nervous whether or not we could manage to get it all put up in an hour, but, with all the wonderful help we had from the entire family, we were actually ready 1/2 hour early! Kelli was a radiant bride..(SOO happy!) and Chris had a marvelous look of wonder the entire day.. like he couldn't believe his good fortune.
I will post more pictures when I figure out where they are on the computer. But, believe me, it was a happy, happy day! Congratulations, Kelli and Christopher! We love you.

  1. Thanks Mom, it was a fantastic day! I'm so grateful for all of the hours you, Jeanie and Christi put into making it the most beautiful reception a girl could hope for (oh and for the Papa and you for all the financial backing). I'm extremely happy! Love you!!

  2. The reason I "couldn't believe [my] good fortune," is because I can't. It is a day I dreaded would never come, both before I met Kelli, and after obstacles kept coming up one after another. Your daughter is an amazing blessing to my life, and I am so grateful for you and your husband for the blessing that she is.
