We were so excited when Nate & Maria told us they were coming for Christmas this year. Max is at that really fun age when all things Christmas are still magical. We knew he especially loved Christmas lights so after we picked them up at the airport we arranged to meet Kelli and Christopher at one of our favorite restaurants in Mesa to eat before heading out to the Mesa Temple grounds to enjoy the lighting display there. It really was amazing. There seemed to be zillions of lights everywhere- What a fun evening!

Wow, Mom! You got some great pictures of the temple lights. It was so much fun watching little Max get all kinds of excited. It's nice to see temple lights where you aren't completely freezing, and you don't have to avoid ice and slush. Yay for AZ!
