As of this morning, George W Bush's 8 years as President of the United States has come to an end. I, for one, will miss him. I love the warmth, caring and genuineness he brought to the Oval Office. I didn't always agree with his politics, but no one could doubt his deep sense of patriotism and love for country. Even his severest critics agree that he is simply a nice guy- his sense of humor and kindly ways are hard to resist. There is no one else I would have wanted at the helm on that fateful Sept 11. So, God speed, Mr Bush, as you begin a new chapter. This particular citizen is truly grateful for your long and dedicated service to our country.
