Yesterday we traded in our good ol' Saturn Vue. It was kind of sad for me because I loved that little car. It has comfortably carried us all over the country with never a whimper or a lick of trouble. But, Bill decided it was time. He was getting hints here and there that it was getting on the verge of needing some maintenance, and, he is determined that his days of crawling under cars is OVER. So.. he called our go to car guy, Paul Rubinet, to find out what cars we should go look at. (we have taken his advice for the last 3 cars we have bought and have never been sorry) Paul's recommendation this time was a Ford Edge. Well we did some shopping around, trying out different cars and styles and sure enough, the Ford Edge fit the bill perfectly! So... yesterday we bought a 2009 Ford Edge Limited and, so far, we're quite pleased. It is comfortable inside, rides like a dream, has all the bells and whistles we could ever need or want.. including, (you're gonna laugh, I did!) HEATED seats! For Arizona??? Too funny! It has a cool thing where you can sync up your cell phone so your calls come in over the radio and if the airbags ever deploy it calls 911 automatically, some fancy media thing that has to do with syncing up your ipod that Chuck could tell you all about, duel temperature control (that Bill says is like a no pee zone in a swimming pool- I'll let you figure that one out.. LOL) etc. etc. Anyway, we think we're going to love it. Its certainly going to get broken in this spring and summer as we travel out to Texas, Nauvoo, Baraboo, and Utah and then on to CA for Charlie's baptism ! Can hardly wait!!

Oooooh! Very nice! I love it! I can't believe you got a new car already, it seems like you just got the Saturn. It sure is fun to have a new car though. Can't wait to see it!
